Demographic Data on DPRK
The Government of the DPRK has delivered the country's some economic data and information to the United Nations Development Programme.
The data were distributed to the participants of the Thematic Roundtable Meeting on Agricultural Recovery and Environmental Protection (AREP) for the DPRK, sponsored by the United Nations Development Progamme in March in New York.
The meeting focused on AREP in the aftermath of the three years of natural disasters in the DPRK and sharing information on the country's food production shortfalls.
The reported data include such extensive information as population, gross domestic product (GDP), labor force, etc.
