DPRK Embassy in Rome Opens
The DPRK embassy in Italy opened in Rome on July 27.
Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy, in his speech at the opening ceremony, expressed his pleasure at the ceremony, saying the relations between Italy and the DPRK would have a favorable influence upon world peace and security and the development of international relations.
Highly appreciating the historic events taking place in Korea, he expressed the belief that the relations between the two countries would expand and develop in various domains and wished the Korean people great success in their struggle for peace, security and for the reunification of Korea.
The DPRK and Italy established their ambassador-level diplomatic relations on Jan. 4 this year.
