The gate of Rajin University, the parent school of RBI. RBI is one of the four faculties of the university, including those for Maritime Transportation, Finance and Economic Management. The establishment of RBI is part of a joint project between the DPRK Government and the U.N. development agencies to develop the Rajin Sonbong Economic and Trade Zone within the framework of the Tumen River Area Development Programme.
